On November 25, an event on the topic: "New jobs in the digital Economy era" was held in Dormitory No. 17 within the framework of SDG 8 "Decent work and economic growth". The organizer was the senior lecturer of the Department of Foreign Philology and Translation study of the Philological Faculty of al- Farabi Kazakh National University A.Zh. Baieli.
The event was organized within the framework of the 8th direction of the Sustainable Development Goal - " "Decent work and Economic growth" aimed at familiarizing students with the new opportunities of the digital economy, informing them about changes in the modern labor market and supporting them in determining their future professional orientation.
The organizer, Baieli A. Zh., made an introductory speech on the importance of the 8th direction of the Sustainable Development Goal, noting the role of the digital economy in the modern world and its impact on the labor market.
The students also provided informative information on the following issues:
* Directions for the development of the digital economy;
* Sought-after professions in the modern labor market;
* Online labor platforms and remote work opportunities;
* New jobs in areas such as IT, marketing, data analysis, and creative industries;
* The importance of acquiring digital skills and professional competitiveness.
The students asked questions and actively exchanged opinions on topics such as new specialties, freelance culture, and working with artificial intelligence. The participants received practical advice on entering the labor market and developing their abilities.
At the end of the event, the following suggestions were made:
* Conducting trainings for students on the development of digital skills;
* Involving young people in online courses and professional platforms;
* Improving digital partnership between the university and employers;
* Creation of an IT club or small project groups based on a dormitory.
The event "New jobs in the digital economy era" was organized at a high level in student dormitories, which contributed to the intensification of explanatory work on the 8th direction of the Sustainable Development Goals.
