Cooperation Without Borders: Visit of Professor Kirill Leonidovich Tomashevsky

On November 28, 2025, within the framework of scientific and educational cooperation, a friendly and productive meeting was held with Professor Kirill Leonidovich Tomashevsky, Doctor of Law and Deputy Dean for Research at the Law Faculty of Kazan Innovative University named after V. G. Timiryazev.

During the meeting, Professor Tomashevsky held a substantive and professionally rich discussion with the faculty of the Department of Civil Law, Civil Procedure and Labor Law at the Law Faculty of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The discussion focused on modern trends in legal science, pressing issues in improving educational programs, implementation of innovative teaching methods, and the role of interdisciplinary approaches in training future lawyers.

Special attention was given to experience exchange in research work, development of joint publication projects, organization of scientific events, and enhancement of academic mobility for both faculty and students. Representatives of the department emphasized the practical significance of the proposals and the high value of Professor Tomashevsky’s expert recommendations.

Both parties expressed mutual interest in further strengthening academic ties, implementing joint scientific initiatives, expanding international cooperation, and developing integration of the educational programs of the two universities. The meeting was held in an atmosphere of constructive dialogue, mutual respect, and a commitment to collaborative development.
