"Topical Problems of Modern Literary Studies" International scientific-theoretical conference

On September 25, 2025, within the framework of  of SDG 4 “Quality Education,” the Department of Kazakh Literature and Theory of Literature held Topical Problems of Modern Literary Studies international scientific-theoretical conference devoted to the anniversary of the famous scientist, academician of the European Academy of Natural History and the International Academy of Literature and Art of Ukraine, Higher Doctorate of Philological Sciences, Full Professor Alua Berikbaykyzy Temirbolat.

 

The organizers of the conference are Higher Doctorate of Philological Sciences, Full Professor A.B. Temirbolat, PhD, Acting Associate Professor G.T. Ospanova, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Acting Associate Professor B.S. Imangaliev, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Assistant Professor L.A. Mekebayeva, PhD, Acting Associate Professor G.R. Dautova, PhD, Assistant Professor R.S. Seisenbieva, Senior Lecturer B.B. Bayazitov. This event brought together scholars, teachers, and researchers from different countries to discuss key issues in the development of philological science in a rapidly changing cultural and technological space. The conference examined current trends and prospects for the development of literary theory in the XXI century and demonstrated new approaches to interdisciplinary research that reveal the interaction of literature with philosophy, cultural studies, linguistics, media theory, and other fields of knowledge.

Particular attention was paid to the issues of literature in the digital age, the transformation of forms of reading and text interpretation, as well as the analysis of contemporary trends in the development of world literature. A significant aspect of the conference was the discussion of the role of digital technologies and artificial intelligence in the study and teaching of literature, their potential and influence on the methodology of humanities research. The conference became an important platform for scientific dialogue, exchange of experience, and the development of new research strategies that contribute to the further development of modern literary studies and the strengthening of international academic cooperation.
