Strengthening China–Kazakhstan Scientific Cooperation in Law and Environmental Legislation

On November 26, 2025, Professors Han Xuemei and Gao Wanni from Lanzhou University visited the China–Central Asia Research Center and the China–Kazakhstan Center for Legal Studies. During the meeting, the parties discussed areas of academic cooperation in the fields of law, customs affairs, and environmental legislation.

The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Law, U. A. Akhatov, the Head of the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law, G. A. Kuanaliyeva, as well as the Deputy Head of the Department, G. K. Rasheva.

This cooperation contributes to strengthening scientific ties between China and Kazakhstan and fully aligns with the objectives of SDG 17.
