The Chinese Language Corner continues to operate
The “Chinese Language Corner,” organized within the “Silk Road” club under the Department of Sinology, is successfully continuing its work.
Under the guidance of first-year curator-advisor Baiserke Aizhan, the language learning club has held three meetings since the beginning of the academic year.
Local students and Chinese students participate together, engaging in conversations on various topics and creating lively discussions. They exchange opinions on family, studies, daily life, and traditions, learning a lot from one another through cultural interaction.
The students involved in this activity show great enthusiasm, and their motivation to study is growing day by day. This club is very beneficial for them: they improve their speaking skills in Kazakh, Russian, and Chinese, help each other, and expand their vocabulary.
Thus, a friendly, culturally enriching, and language-developing environment is being created for the students. The organizers also plan to expand the club’s activities and involve senior students in the future.
