Working meeting at KazNU within the MECAS project
On 2 December, a working meeting was held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University within the framework of the international project MECAS — Master’s and Ecoinformatics Capacity for Aral Sea region, funded by the Erasmus+ programme.
The meeting was attended by the representative of the Nukus State Technical University, the main project coordinator — Asiya Tureniyazova.
From KazNU, the meeting was joined by the project’s working group and the national coordinator — Tursynkul Bazarbayeva.

During the meeting, the participants discussed key organisational and methodological issues, reviewed current tasks and responsibilities, and outlined the next steps regarding upcoming work packages. Particular attention was given to course adaptation, resource allocation, time-sheet management, use of KazNU laboratory facilities, and planning of future project activities.
The meeting was constructive and contributed to strengthening cooperation between the partners.
