KazNU scientists exchanged experiences in the field of AI

A group of scientists and students of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University took part in a scientific and practical event at the University of Bahcesehir in Istanbul (Turkiye).

The trip was organized within the framework of the program-targeted financing project "Development of a digital twin of a food industry enterprise using artificial intelligence and IIoT technologies".

An in-depth course on "Optimization of intelligent production systems using digital twins: integration of AI and IIoT" was held in Istanbul.

The main purpose of the course is the joint implementation of mutually beneficial projects in the field of science and education, as well as the exchange of international experience.

During the course, the format of the discussions made a special impression on the students. The participants discussed issues of digital security, information technology and the development of innovative projects. Students and teachers of KazNU actively participated in the discussions, which contributed to improving their professional qualifications and expanding their knowledge of modern methods of managing production processes.

According to experts, the Digital Twin technology significantly increases the efficiency of enterprises through real-time modeling, analysis and optimization of production processes.

In turn, representatives of KazNU acquainted their foreign colleagues with the latest achievements of the university: scientific centers and laboratories recently opened on the basis of KazNU, specific results of innovative projects developed by scientists of the educational institution. We also discussed the possibilities of bilateral cooperation with colleagues from the University of Bahcesehir.

This event strengthened KazNU's scientific and educational ties with the University of Turkey and created a platform for training specialists in modern areas of Artificial Intelligence and IIoT.
