Visit of KazNU Law Faculty Students to the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs within the Framework of the SDGs

On December 8, 2025, students of Group 116 of the Faculty of Law at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University visited the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The event was organized by D.Sc. in Law, Baymakhanova D.M., a lecturer of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law, as part of the SDG program.
The excursion was conducted by Zulfia Muratalievna Surappaieva, who provided the students with a detailed and informative overview of the Academy’s activities. At the beginning of the meeting, she spoke about the history of the institution, its role in training personnel for law enforcement agencies, and the level of responsibility borne by police officers in modern society. She also introduced the students to the Academy’s curriculum, explaining how cadets develop professional skills, which disciplines they study, and the requirements for future law enforcement officers. Special attention was given to issues of discipline, moral and ethical standards, and the basic principles of official conduct. The students visited several classrooms, specialized offices, and practical training facilities to learn about the methods used to train cadets. They were shown sports halls, gym facilities, and rooms designed for practicing practical skills.
The students actively participated in the discussion, asking questions about admission, internships, and future career opportunities. Thanks to this, the meeting took place in the format of an open and informative dialogue.
In conclusion, the participants expressed their gratitude to the staff of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Academy and to Zulfia Muratalievna Surappaieva for the excursion and the knowledge provided.
