A Student of the Department of Chinese Studies Achieved Outstanding Results at the Citywide Intellectual Competition “Foreign Language Expert”

    Akzhan Kasymzhan, a second-year student of the Department of Chinese Studies, demonstrated excellent performance at the citywide intellectual competition “Foreign Language Expert.” Based on the results of the contest, she received a special certificate, placing among the top participants.

    Akzhan was trained for the competition by Associate Professor of the Department of Chinese Studies, an experienced methodologist and scholar, Fatimabibi Nogaykyzy Daulet. Thanks to the joint effort and dedicated preparation of the instructor and the student, Akzhan successfully and confidently performed at all stages of the contest. The competition consisted of three main components: a question–answer session in Chinese, a self-introduction in Chinese, and a creative performance. At each stage, Akzhan Kasymzhan demonstrated a high level of preparation, confidence, and exceptional linguistic competence, which allowed her to stand out among the participants and enhance the reputation of the Department of Chinese Studies. Her achievement became a compelling testament to the high-quality education, as well as the linguistic and cultural training provided at the Department of Chinese Studies. This victory became not only a valuable professional experience for the young sinologist but also an important source of motivation for her future academic and career development.
