Water is life, Clean water is Health

On December 9, 2025, as a part of within the framework of of SDG # 6 "Clean Water and Sanitation," a mentoring event was held in the Students house # 17 for students of the Faculty of Philology residing there.

L.B. Nagiyatova, mentor and advisor of the Department of Foreign Philology and Translation, prepared a video quiz where students guessed and completed proverbs and sayings in Kazakh and Russian on the water topic, completed game quiz tasks, and tried to translate without google translator phrases and sentences about water conservation from Kazakh into Russian and vice versa. The students discussed a "Clean Water and Sanitation" presentation.

The goal of the event: To teach the younger generation to take care of clean water and maintain sanitation especially during the peak of seasonal viral flu diseases.

Clean water and sanitation—the key to good health and a long life—were the main focus of the discussion.
