The patriotic event “Our Hearts Beat for Independence” was held at the Department of Chinese Studies

On January 10, 2025, the advisor of the Department of Chinese Studies at the Faculty of Oriental Studies, N.B. Saparbayeva, organized a festive event aimed at fostering patriotic spirit, titled “Our Hearts Beat for Independence,” with the participation of master's students, doctoral students, and first-year undergraduates.

The event was attended by faculty members, the administration of the faculty, as well as honored guests, students, master’s and doctoral students from other universities. The instructors shared meaningful reflections emphasizing the importance of independence in educating the younger generation and offered valuable ideas that inspired the students.

The program featured presentations dedicated to the theme of independence, and the students performed patriotic songs, poetic compositions, and small theatrical sketches. In addition, video materials highlighting key historical periods of Kazakhstan’s independence were shown, leaving a strong impression on the audience. The event took place in a warm and engaging atmosphere, becoming a meaningful gathering aimed at strengthening the national consciousness of youth, reviving historical memory, and promoting the values of independence. Participants expressed their gratitude to the organizers and emphasized the importance of such spiritually enriching events.
