The graduates of the Faculty of Oriental Studies presented gifts to the students
On December 11, 2025, on behalf of the alumni of the Iranian Studies program at the Department of Middle East and South Asia, monetary incentive gifts were presented to third-year students enrolled in the paid program as a gesture of support and encouragement. This initiative aims to enhance young Iranologists’ interest in their studies and to further support their academic and professional development.
The event was organized by Iranian Studies alumnae E.K. Kassabekova and G.Zh. Omarkhanova, who congratulated the students on the upcoming Independence Day and conveyed warm wishes from the wider community of Iranian Studies graduates. They emphasized the importance of fostering an active, motivated, and supportive new generation of future specialists.
The alumni also shared an important message: “Let us continue to support one another,” encouraging young Iranologists to embrace unity, mutual assistance, and collaboration.
This initiative strengthened the connection between the department’s alumni and current students, highlighting the community’s commitment to continuing such meaningful traditions in the future.
