Lecture on “Industrial and Innovative Development”

A lecture on “Industrial and Innovative Development” was held for 4th-year Geography students and 2nd-year master’s students at the Department of Geography, Land Management, and Cadastre, within the framework of Sustainable Development Goal 9 – Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure.

The lecture covered modern industrial technologies and innovations, including additive manufacturing (AM, FFF, WAAM), laser micro-processing, micro- and nano-manufacturing, intelligent factories, Industry 4.0, and the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). Special attention was given to sustainable supply chains, eco-innovations, digital infrastructure, and life cycle assessment of manufacturing technologies.

The event provided students with a clear understanding of modern industrial innovation, sustainable production practices, and the application of advanced technologies in both large enterprises and small and medium-sized businesses.
