A roundtable discussion on SDG 3 "Patient and Society" was held at the Department of Health Policy and Organization.

The event was part of a series of activities dedicated to the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically SDG 3 "Good Health and Well-Being," on the topic "Epidemiology: From Individual Care to Global Health."

Participants discussed key issues of patient rights and responsibilities at the global and national (Kazakhstan, India) levels, as well as screening programs. Special attention was paid to the role of the patient in society and the social determinants of health.

The final session included a discussion on epidemiology as a science. The event highlighted the importance of engaging young professionals in discussing global challenges and developing practical solutions in medicine and healthcare.
