“We Are the Youth of an Independent Country” SDS4 and SDS16
The event themed “We Are the Youth of an Independent Country,” dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was conducted in an interactive and educational format.
At the beginning of the event, students were provided with a concise overview of the historical significance of Independence Day, the key stages in the formation and development of sovereign Kazakhstan, and the important role of youth in the country’s socio-economic and political development. This introduction helped establish a conceptual framework for further discussion and reflection.
Subsequently, group work was organized, during which students discussed the core values of independence, shared their perspectives on the contribution of the younger generation to the future of the nation, and presented their ideas. This format encouraged critical thinking, collaboration, and active participation.
To enhance engagement and reinforce the learning outcomes, an interactive Kahoot quiz was conducted. The quiz included questions related to Kazakhstan’s independence, state symbols, and major historical events. The game generated significant interest and fostered an atmosphere of healthy competition. Students participated enthusiastically, demonstrating a high level of motivation and knowledge. The quiz results enabled a meaningful summary of the event and the recognition of the most active participants.
