Award ceremony of the Interuniversity competition "Modern possibilities of fingerprinting and fingerprint examination"

On December 05, 2025, the library of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted a solemn awarding ceremony for the winners of the Interuniversity Competition "Modern possibilities of fingerprinting and fingerprint examination", organized by members of the student scientific circle "Expert criminologist" of the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics during the implementation of paragraph 4 of the Sustainable Development Goal "Ensuring fair quality education".

The competition was held in two stages from November 17 to November 29, 2025, among students of the 3rd and 4th courses of the educational programs 6B12301 "Law Enforcement" and 6B04205 "Jurisprudence".

More than 150 university students from our country and abroad took part in the competition. Among them were students from leading educational institutions such as:

- Turan University;

- Kunaev University;

- Caspian University of Technology and Engineering named after S. Yesenova;

- Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai;

- Almaty branch of the St. Petersburg University of the Humanities of Trade Unions;

- Almaty University of Humanities and Economics;

- Berdakh Karakalpak State University.

In addition, more than 60 students of Kunayev University and Turan University tested their knowledge, who took part in a competition organized by the staff of al-Farabi Kazakh National University within the walls of their educational institutions.

According to the results of the competition, the winners received diplomas of I, II and III degrees.
