“XVI Siberian Meeting and School of Young Scientists on Climate and Environmental Monitoring”
As part of the School for Young Scientists and SDG 13, specialists from the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology, in particular A.V. Cherednichenko, took part in the All-Russian Conference with international participation “XVI Siberian Meeting and School of Young Scientists on Climate and Environmental Monitoring,” which was held from September 16 to 20, 2025, in Tomsk at the Institute for Monitoring of Climate and Environmental Systems of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
The conference became an important platform for the exchange of scientific experience, discussion of modern methods of climate and ecosystem monitoring, and the development of international scientific dialogue in the field of climate and environmental research. During the conference, lectures were given by leading experts in the field of environmental sciences, including climatology, geoecology, geography, as well as computing and information technologies.
A.V. Cherednichenko gave an online lecture on “Implementation of the Paris Agreement and the Global Methane Initiative in the Republic of Kazakhstan.”
