Lecturer of the Department of International Law, N. V. Gileva, took part in an open panel discussion held within the framework of the 15th Kazakhstan Legal Forum 2025 (KLF 2025), one of the leading professional platforms for discussing pressing legal and socio-economic issues.

The forum brought together more than 500 experts and professionals from the fields of economics, law, ecology, and social sciences, as well as representatives of government bodies and non-governmental organizations, ensuring a broad, interdisciplinary, and practice-oriented format of discussions.

In her presentation, delivered in the context of Sustainable Development Goal 17 — “Partnerships for the Goals,” the lecturer addressed key issues related to the application of the labor legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Particular attention was paid to the legal nature and practical implementation of non-compete agreements, as well as issues of labor discipline. Problematic aspects of law enforcement practice were analyzed, and practical recommendations were provided, taking into account current labor market conditions.

Participation in such forums contributes to strengthening professional dialogue between the academic community, practitioners, and government institutions, and to the development of effective mechanisms for regulating labor relations in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
