International boxing tournament dedicated to the memory of G. Zharylgapov.

The opening of the 41st international boxing tournament in memory of the Honored coach of the Kazakh SSR Galym Zharylgapov took place at the Serik Sapiev Boxing Center on Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan. More than 200 boxers from China, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and all regions of Kazakhstan came to Karaganda to compete for the title of champion.

Sman Abylai, a 1st year student of the Faculty of Medicine, took first place in the 70 kg weight category.
