Implementation of Sustainable Development Goal No. 17: Partnerships for Sustainable Development
As part of strengthening cooperation between government institutions and implementing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal No. 17 – “Partnerships for Sustainable Development,” on December 19, 2025, a joint event aimed at providing legal assistance to the population was held at the Service Center of the Medeu District Police Department of the city of Almaty.
Within the framework of the event, legal consultations on administrative law issues were provided to citizens, aimed at increasing legal awareness and ensuring access to qualified legal assistance.
The consultations were conducted by Roza Yergalyevna Sagalbayeva, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Assistant Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
During the reception of citizens, issues related to administrative procedures, the rights and obligations of citizens, the procedure for appealing decisions and actions of public authorities were addressed, and explanations of the administrative legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan were provided.
The event served as a clear example of effective partnership between the Medeu District Police Department of the city of Almaty and Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, aimed at strengthening the principles of the rule of law, increasing public trust in state institutions, and achieving sustainable development objectives.
The implementation of such initiatives contributes to the development of interagency cooperation and the practical realization of SDG 17.
