A training on "Early warning of emergency situations" was conducted

A training session on "Early Warning of Emergency Situations" was held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The aim of the event was to raise awareness and preparedness of students and faculty members in case of natural and man-made emergencies.

The UNESCO Chair on Sustainable Development introduced participants to the theoretical foundations of early warning systems, risk assessment methods, and rapid response algorithms. Special attention was given to practical skills on how to act correctly during earthquakes.
