Senior Lecturer of the Department of Chinese Studies Awarded the “For Distinguished Service” Medal of KazNU

On December 25, 2025, at a regular meeting of the Academic Council of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Kaliolla Ardak, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Chinese Studies at the Faculty of Oriental Studies, was awarded the “For Distinguished Service” medal of KazNU by order of the Rector for her significant contribution to the development of the university.

Kaliolla Ardak has been working at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University since 2005. She currently carries out educational and research activities at a high professional level as a Senior Lecturer of the Chinese language at the Department of Chinese Studies, Faculty of Oriental Studies.

Within the scope of her academic and pedagogical work, she has published numerous scholarly articles. She is also one of the compiling authors of the four-volume textbook “Chinese Language for Everyone.” In addition, K. Ardak has made a substantial contribution to the field of translation, having translated a number of fundamental works from Chinese into Kazakh covering education, philosophy, culture, medicine, economics, and international relations.

Throughout her years of service at the department, Kaliolla Ardak has demonstrated a high level of responsibility and professionalism, earning recognition as a competent and experienced educator. She actively participates in national and international academic conferences, regularly sharing her professional expertise.

Alongside her teaching activities, K. Ardak takes an active part in social, scientific, and cultural events held at the faculty and university levels, making a significant contribution to youth education. She enjoys great respect among students and colleagues as a dedicated, responsible, and highly respected lecturer.
