Meeting of the Academic Council of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University: Master of Laws (LL.M.) diplomas awarded

On December 25, 2025, a ceremonial diploma award ceremony for graduates of the double degree program was held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. During the meeting of the Academic Council, the Rector of the University, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor Zhanseit K. Tuymebayev, awarded Master of Laws (LL.M.) diplomas to Amir Kudaybergenov, Temirlan Kobentaev, Sabina Amirzhan, and Amina Azotova.

The double degree program has been implemented since 2018 within the framework of cooperation between Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the University of Wismar (Germany). The program provides education in two fields: “German and International Commercial Law” and “7M04218 – Jurisprudence.”

Previously, in July 2025, the graduates received the degree of Master of Legal Sciences from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The German Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree is recognized throughout the European Union and offers graduates extensive professional opportunities.

Graduates of the double degree program demonstrate a high level of employability and pursue professional careers in business entities, governmental and law enforcement bodies, as well as higher education institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Currently, five master’s students continue their studies within the program.
