Hydrology Lectures for Master’s Students of the Kazakh-German University

Senior Lecturer of the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology, Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Zh.А. Zhanabayeva delivered a series of lectures and practical classes in the course “Hydrology” for master’s students enrolled in the educational program “Integrated Water Resources Management” at the Kazakh-German University.

The course covered modern approaches to water resources assessment, methods of hydrological analysis and monitoring, as well as issues of sustainable water systems management under climate change conditions. Particular emphasis was placed on the practical application of theoretical knowledge in addressing current challenges in the water sector.

The training activities served as an example of academic cooperation between leading universities and were aimed at enhancing the quality of training for highly qualified specialists in the field of water resources and sustainable development.
