The lecture-meeting entitled “Poverty Eradication: Counteracting Financial Exploitation of Students”.

   On December 25, 2025, within the framework of UN Sustainable Development Goal 1 “No Poverty”, ALT University hosted a lecture-meeting entitled “Poverty Eradication: Counteracting Financial Exploitation of Students”. The event was conducted by PhD, Associate Professor Adlet Ergali Maratuly, Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Forensics.

    The lecture addressed key issues of financial fraud, unfair services targeting students, and legal mechanisms for prevention and protection. A total of 32 students and academic staff members participated in the event. The initiative contributed to enhancing financial and legal literacy and supported the implementation of SDG 1 at the institutional level.
