Ayimzhan Baitureeva, a graduate of the Department of Mathematical and Computer Modeling at the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, shared her experience participating in the TechWomen 2023 program. As part of the program, she completed a professional internship in Silicon Valley, visited the offices of leading tech companies (Google, Meta, Amazon, Intel), and visited Berkeley and Stanford universities. She participated in lectures and networking events with executives and experts from the global IT industry, and co-organized an international professional event. A special achievement was her team's victory in the startup pitch competition and the continued development of the Irrigate Smart project until 2026. This experience allowed her to see the absence of career barriers for women in STEM and gave her the confidence to set ambitious goals. Ayimzhan Baitureeva emphasizes the importance of participating in international internships and programs for the professional growth and self-realization of women and girls in science and IT.
