Sustainable Development Goal 16: "Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions."

    On October 17, 2025, the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, and Forensics of the Law Faculty of al-Farabi Kazakh National University, together with members of the "Әділет" club and students of group 215, held an advocacy meeting on the topic "Prevention of Offenses" for first and second-year students at the KazNU dormitory within the framework of the UN Sustainable Development Goal 16: "Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions."Prevention of offenses is a system of measures aimed at maintaining order in society and preventing the occurrence of offenses.

     The main purpose of the event: eliminating the causes and conditions of offenses, increasing citizens' legal awareness and culture, fostering respect for the law in society, developing legal culture among youth, conducting informational and explanatory work — explaining legal requirements through the media, and carrying out legal advocacy.
