Connection between Science and Practice: Express Training for Internal Affairs Personnel

SDG 4 – Quality Education. On December 19, 2025, the Faculty of Law of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University conducted an express professional online training for heads of human resources divisions of the Internal Affairs Bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

🎓 The training was organized jointly with the Department of Law Enforcement Management of the Almaty Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Yesbolatov. Participants included officials from the Central Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, territorial subdivisions, and police departments.

A professor of the Faculty of Law, Doctor of Law Zhanar Kegembayeva delivered an online lecture entitled “Issues of Effectiveness of Managerial Decision-Making in Internal Affairs Bodies.” During the lecture, modern requirements for law enforcement activities were comprehensively examined from the perspective of a human-centered and service-oriented state, including issues of service discipline, legality, and respect for individual rights.

👥 Number of participants: law enforcement practitioners – 30 people, academic staff – 3 people.

This initiative contributed to ensuring continuous professional development of law enforcement personnel and access to high-quality, practice-oriented education. As a result, participants enhanced their professional competencies in managerial decision-making, strengthened legal culture, and reinforced responsibility-based approaches to management.

The event fully aligns with the objectives of SDG 4 – Quality Education.
