International Forum of Strategic Partners “Kazakhstan — A Territory of Academic Knowledge”
Today, a business meeting was held at the Palace of Independence between the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, and the heads of leading international universities and organizations.
The President emphasized that education and science are strategic fields that unite countries and nations:
“Strong universities are true factories of the future, where ideas are born and the outlines of a more just world are shaped.”
Minister of Science and Higher Education Sayasat Nurbek noted that:

A network of 40 branches of foreign universities is being established in Kazakhstan.

85% of academic programs are focused on high-tech specializations.

31,500 international students are already studying in the country, with the number expected to reach 100,000 by 2029.
