Kazakhstan Has Entered a New Stage of Modernization
At a meeting with the public, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev outlined the country’s strategic development priorities and emphasized that Kazakhstan is moving from a phase of reforms to a stage of sustainable modernization and qualitative growth.
➡ Economy
The focus is on economic diversification, development of non-resource sectors, support for entrepreneurship, and attraction of investment. The state is prioritizing production, technology, and value added.
➡ Social Justice
Special emphasis was placed on improving citizens’ quality of life: fair distribution of resources, strengthening social protection, and supporting education and healthcare.
➡ Public Administration
The President highlighted the importance of an effective, transparent, and accountable state. Modernization of governance approaches continues, along with a stronger role of the rule of law and responsibility of public authorities.
➡ Digitalization and Innovation
Digital transformation is viewed as a key development tool — from public services to business and education. Kazakhstan must remain competitive in the global digital economy.
➡ Public Dialogue and Stability
The role of civic participation, dialogue with society, and preservation of political stability was emphasized as the foundation for long-term development.
The new stage of modernization is not a one-time reform, but a systemic path toward a strong, just, and modern Kazakhstan.
