Shymkent Open International tournament named after Kuashbay Sattarov in karate-do WKF. Selection for the Asian Championship and the World Cup.

Tolegen Beknar, a 3rd-year student of the Law Faculty of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, won 2nd place in the weight category up to 84 kg (among athletes aged 18-20 years).
