During the National Kurultai, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, emphasized the strategic importance of science, artificial intelligence, energy, and water resource management. These priorities fully align with the educational programs offered by the Department of Mechanics, including Mechanics, Robotic Systems, Space Engineering and Technologies, as well as the Master’s program Mechanics and Energy.

The President’s statement that artificial intelligence must be based on mathematics, mathematical modeling, and proper physical problem formulation highlights the fundamental role of engineering and mechanical sciences. The Department of Mechanics fully supports the President’s strategic vision and will continue training highly qualified specialists in these priority areas.
