On November 16, within the framework of the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), an information and educational event was held in observance of the International Day Against Anorexia. In addition, on December 15, an event was organized in connection with Injury Prevention Day.
As part of this event, students of group OM 24-01, under the guidance of Senior Lecturer M.M. Mukasheva, took part in discussing current issues related to fostering a responsible attitude toward health, preventing eating disorders, and reducing the risk of injuries in everyday life and the educational environment.
Special attention was paid to informing students about the signs of anorexia, its possible consequences for physical and mental health, and the importance of seeking timely medical and psychological assistance. In the context of injury prevention, the main causes of domestic and academic injuries, measures to prevent them, and rules of safe behavior were discussed.
The event contributed to increasing students’ level of awareness, fostering a culture of healthy and safe lifestyles, and highlighting the importance of prevention as an effective tool for maintaining the health and well-being of students.
