Lecture for International Doctoral Students Held at the Department of Chinese Studies

On February 2, 2026, at 12:00, a lecture for international doctoral students titled “Effective Academic Writing Strategies for Publishing in Scopus-Indexed Journals” was held at the Department of Chinese Studies, Faculty of Oriental Studies. The lecture was delivered by Professor Zhanat Bissenbayeva of the Department of Chinese Studies.

During the lecture, key requirements for publishing articles in international academic journals were discussed, along with the specific features of Scopus-indexed publications, the structure of academic writing, and effective approaches to producing high-quality scholarly texts. Special attention was paid to the systematic presentation of research findings, proper use of sources, and adherence to academic ethics.
