Our Interns at ARMC: Real Practice in a Multidisciplinary Clinic

Dear colleagues, patients, and future doctors!

The Almaty Regional Multidisciplinary Clinic (ARMC) is not only a place where thousands of residents of Almaty and Almaty region receive daily care — it is also an important clinical base for training young medical professionals. It is here that our interns undergo intensive practical training, assist leading physicians, and participate in real operations under the close supervision of experienced mentors.

Within the walls of ARMC, interns are immersed in the daily life of a true multidisciplinary hospital: from patient intake in therapy, surgery, oncology, and traumatology departments to working in operating theatres, intensive care units, and diagnostic divisions. They master:

 • History taking and patient examination

 • Participation in diagnostic procedures (ultrasound, endoscopy, CT, lab tests)

 • Assisting in operations of varying complexity — from elective to emergency procedures

 • Postoperative patient management

 • Teamwork with residents, surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff

Every day brings real clinical cases, genuine responsibility, and invaluable experience. Under the guidance of ARMC’s highly qualified specialists, interns don’t just observe — they actively contribute to the treatment process, learn to make decisions, and truly connect with patients.

Over the recent period, dozens of interns have completed their training at our clinic, and many report how this stage helped them grow into confident physicians. ARMC takes pride in contributing to the preparation of Kazakhstan’s next generation of healthcare professionals.
