Delegation from Zhangjiajie College (China) Visits the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Sciences
On February 4, the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Sciences hosted an official delegation from the People’s Republic of China. The delegation was led by Mr. Jiang Debin, Rector of Zhangjiajie College, accompanied by members of the college administration.
During the visit, a working meeting was held to discuss prospects for bilateral cooperation. Particular attention was given to expanding collaboration in the areas of academic mobility, organization of summer schools, and the implementation of joint educational and research initiatives.

Representatives of Zhangjiajie College expressed their interest in sending graduates to pursue Master’s and PhD programs at the university, which opens new opportunities for strengthening international academic partnerships.
As part of the visit program, the Chinese delegation was offered a guided tour of the university’s academic and research facilities. The guests visited specialized laboratories, including the Remote Sensing Laboratory, where they were introduced to modern research directions and advanced technical infrastructure.
The visit marked an important step toward enhancing international cooperation and developing sustainable academic and scientific collaboration between the faculty and its Chinese partners.
