The student law clinic conducted legal awareness for students on legal responsibility

     On February 18, 2026, a meeting was held at al-Farabi Kazakh National University with students from L.N. Tolstoy secondary school, under the state institution «Department of Education of Karasay district, Almaty Region» and the Gybrat High school education center of Karasay district, Almaty Region.

      The main purpose of the event was to inform young people about the legal responsibility of minors, foster legal culture, and promote the development of civic-mindedness among the younger generation based on respect for the law.

      During the meeting, the rights and duties of children and adolescents, their responsibility before the law, and ways to prevent offenses were thoroughly discussed.

     The meeting was attended by the school leaders and teachers, as well as representatives of the student legal clinic at the faculty of law of the university. In particular, head of the department of customs, financial, and environmental law, doctor of legal sciences, professor Kuanaliyeva Guldana Amangeldikyzy; professor of the department, candidate of legal sciences Aigarinova Gulnar Toleukhadirkyzy; director of the student legal clinic, doctor of legal sciences, Professor Baideldinov Daulet Laikovich, senior lecturers Eleusizova Nurgul Toleubekkyzy and Bakirov Darkhan Abdymanapuly as well as other representatives of the legal clinic actively engaged with the students.

     The specialists emphasized that adherence to laws is the foundation of a safe and stable society, analyzed common legal situations encountered in daily life, and provided practical recommendations.
