The student law clinic provided college students with advice on current legal issues
On February 19, 2026, a meeting was held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University with students of Almaty Law College.
The main purpose of the event was to inform young people about current legal issues, foster legal culture, and support the development of civic-mindedness and responsible behavior based on respect for the law among the younger generation.
During the meeting, students received detailed explanations on personal and civil rights, labor law, legal responsibility on the internet, legal violations in social networks and the digital environment, as well as administrative and criminal liability, and also practical advices was also provided. Students shared their experiences and asked questions regarding legal situations and issues they frequently encounter in everyday life.
The meeting was attended by college students and administrators, as well as representatives of the student legal clinic at the faculty of law of al-Farabi Kazakh National University. In particular, head of the department of customs, financial, and environmental law, doctor of legal sciences, professor Kuanaliyeva Guldana Amangeldikyzy; department professor, candidate of legal sciences Aigarinova Gulnar Toleukhadirkyzy; director of the student legal clinic, Doctor of legal sciences, professor Baideldinov Daulet Laikovich; senior lecturers Eleusizova Nurgul Toleubekkyzy and Bakirov Darkhan Abdymanapuly, as well as other representatives of the legal clinic actively engaged with the students.
Such meetings enhance the legal literacy of young people, help them understand contemporary legal realities, and foster a culture of law compliance.
