On February 11, Senior Curator of the Department of Mechanics Baisbayeva Oralkhan and the Deputy Head of the Department for Academic, Methodological, and Educational Affairs Ismailova Assel, together with 1st–3rd year students, attended the tragedy “Karaköz” staged at the Gabit Musirepov Kazakh State Academic Theatre for Children and Youth. The author of the work is Mukhtar Auezov, a towering figure of Kazakh literature.

The performance enabled students to reflect deeply on national values, morality, love, and destiny. The theatre evening contributed to young people’s spiritual development, broadened their cultural outlook, and helped shape their aesthetic taste.

This event was carried out in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals: Goal 5 — Gender Equality (through the portrayal of women’s fate and rights in society) and Goal 16 — Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions (by addressing issues of public consciousness, justice, and human rights).

Ismailova Assel Zhenisbekovna,
Deputy Head of the Department of Mechanics for Academic, Methodological, and Educational Affairs
