The Land Cadastre Department of Almaty held a meeting with students of the “Land Management” educational program of the Department of Geography, Land Management, and Cadastre, as well as with the academic staff.

B.A. Rsymbetov conducted a meeting with students and faculty members on the topic “Specific Features of Land Cadastre Administration in the City of Almaty.” Students of the “Land Management” program, as well as master’s and doctoral students, also participated in the meeting.

During the meeting, the activities and organizational structure of the Land Cadastre Department of the Almaty branch of State Corporation «Government for Citizens» were presented.

The discussion covered the specific aspects of maintaining the land cadastre in Almaty, including the formation, division, and consolidation of land plots, expropriation for state needs, and modification of identification characteristics of land plots. In addition, explanations were provided regarding public services such as determining land plot boundaries, conducting office-based cadastral work for conditional shares, assessing cadastral (valuation) value, and providing information on the qualitative condition of land plots.

The meeting became an important step toward strengthening cooperation between the department and the professional sector and was aimed at improving the quality of training for future specialists.
