The Almaty Region Boxing Championship.
The team of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, consisting of five people, took part in these competitions.
The winners were:
Seitkurman Yerkebulan, 2nd year student of the Faculty of Medicine – 3rd place in the 70 kg weight category;
Abdumazhitov Diyarbek, 2nd year student of the Faculty of Law – 3rd place in the 75 kg weight category;
Turynbek Rizat, 2nd year student of the Faculty of Medicine – 1st place in the 75 kg weight category;
Kayrat Alibek, 1st year student of the Faculty of Medicine – 1st place in the 80 kg weight category.
