Academic Governance and Quality of Education: Intensive Training for Leaders and Faculty Members

On March 4, 2026, an expert strategic session titled “Academic Governance and Quality of Education: Intensive Training for Leaders and Faculty Members” was held at Al‑Farabi Kazakh National University.

The event was attended by the Head of the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law of the Faculty of Law, Doctor of Law, Professor G.A. Kuanalieva, as well as the faculty members of the department: G.T. Aigarinova, A.A. Yessekeyeva, M.E. Saginayev, A.A. Kudaibergenov, and I.B. Shapkatova.

During the strategic session, participants discussed issues related to improving the educational process, introducing effective mechanisms of academic governance, and the proper and efficient use of artificial intelligence tools in teaching, methodological, and research activities. The participants learned practical approaches to working effectively with AI, methods for constructing accurate prompts to obtain precise and high-quality responses, and explored the potential of modern digital technologies for enhancing the quality of education.

As a result of the event, faculty members exchanged experience in the digitalization of the educational process, modernization of teaching methods, and improvement of student learning outcomes, while also enhancing their professional competencies. Such strategic meetings contribute to the development of the university’s academic culture, the formation of an innovative educational environment, and the strengthening of the professional potential of faculty members.
