📚 Methodological Seminar “Modern Approaches to Syllabus Design: Learning Outcomes, Assessment and Academic Integrity”

📅 On March 5, 2026 at 11:30, a methodological seminar was held for the academic staff of the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Forensics.
🎤 Speaker: G.M. Atakhanova, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Professor of the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Forensics.
📖 The seminar addressed contemporary approaches to syllabus design and its role in the digital educational environment. Particular attention was given to understanding the syllabus not only as a formal course document but also as a tool for course management, academic communication with students, and structuring the learning process. 
💬 Participants discussed the formulation of measurable learning outcomes, the development of transparent assessment systems, the use of criteria-based assessment and rubrics, and the importance of maintaining academic integrity within the educational process. Practical recommendations for designing a structured syllabus and ensuring alignment between learning outcomes, learning activities, and assessment tasks were also presented.
