An open class was held on the topic “Water is the Source of Life.”

In accordance with Goals 13 and 14 of the Sustainable Development Goals proposed by the United Nations, an open class on water resources protection was held on March 4, 2026, at the Department of Geography, Land Management and Cadastre with 3rd-year students of the “Cadastre” educational program.

During the class, the importance of SDG-13 “Climate Action” and SDG-14 “Life Below Water” was discussed. Students shared their views on the rational use of water resources, their protection, and ensuring environmental sustainability.

In the practical part of the class, students worked in groups, prepared posters on the topic of water resources protection, and presented their projects. They proposed ideas aimed at protecting water sources, using water efficiently, and preserving the environment.

The open class was aimed at increasing students’ environmental awareness, fostering responsible attitudes toward natural resources, and promoting the principles of sustainable development.
