From March 14 to 23, Kazakhstan celebrates the nationwide decade of Nauryznam. This Nauryz celebration format has managed to combine historical traditions, cultural events, and public initiatives in a short period of time, transforming it into a significant national holiday aimed at strengthening the country's unity.
On March 16, 2026, at the Faculty of Law of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, students from the Jurisprudence-107 group celebrated "Charity Day" at the initiative of Kanat Alikhan, senior lecturer in the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law. On this day, students supported charitable initiatives aimed at promoting the values of kindness and compassion, as well as developing a culture of mutual assistance and social responsibility in society.
The new format for Nauryz celebrations was introduced in 2024 at the initiative of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. During this ten-day period, Kazakhstanis have the opportunity to deeply understand the meaning of Nauryz and its role in strengthening national identity. Each day has its own theme and purpose, making the holiday more meaningful and engaging for people of all ages.
The scale of the festive events is wide: from national sports games to art exhibitions and charity events. All this demonstrates that Nauryz is not only a celebration of spring renewal but also a symbol of spiritual rebirth and social harmony.
