Visit of Xi’an Jiaotong University Delegation to KazNU for the Launch of the Publishing Center “China – Central Asia”

Today, the museum of КазНУ was visited by a delegation from Xi’an Jiaotong University, led by Vice-President Cai Wei. The visit was organized as part of a large-scale event – the launch of the Publishing Center “China – Central Asia” under the project “Book Culture of the Great Silk Road: Dialogue of Civilizations.” The new center will serve as a unique platform for book publishing, the development of translation activities, the exchange of international scientific resources, and the strengthening of strategic partnerships in the format “state – university – business – industry – media.”

During the visit, the guests also explored the museum’s exhibition – photographs, archival materials, and items reflecting the university’s history. The delegation was particularly interested in the Farabi Cultural Centers and their international branches, as well as the famous exhibit – the Golden Man, a symbol of Kazakhstan’s cultural heritage.

The event emphasized the importance of cultural and academic exchange and opened new opportunities for collaboration between universities.
