“Kultura FEST: Youth Embrace Traditions”
At Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (KazNU), the festive event “Kultura FEST” was held, dedicated to the Day of Culture and National Traditions. The festival brought together students and university guests, showcasing the richness of Kazakhstan’s historical and cultural heritage as well as the creative potential of young people.
The festival atmosphere was filled with vibrant national color. Participants and guests had the opportunity to explore the roots of folk art, and special photo zones featuring elements of traditional clothing and household items allowed visitors to take memorable pictures in an ethnic style.
As part of the celebration, masters of decorative and applied arts conducted interactive workshops in pottery. Students tried their hand at creating ceramic pieces, learning the secrets of ancient crafts and gaining unique practical experience. Outdoors, an improvised art gallery featured young painters creating works that reflected the daily life of ancestors and the spirit of national holidays.
The emotional depth of the evening was enhanced by a youth orchestra performance. The sounds of the dombra and folk melodies filled the square with live music, immersing the audience in the world of traditional culture and creating an unforgettable festive atmosphere.
According to the organizers, the main goal of **“Kultura FEST”** is to preserve traditional values through the lens of innovative trends. Initiatives like this inspire pride in national art among young people and open new horizons for the development of culture in contemporary society.
