Associate Professor Altyngazy Karimov is 85 years old
The faculty of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University has received another piece of exciting news. Associate Professor of the Department of Mathematical and Computer Modeling and scientist Altyngazy Karimov was awarded a prestigious prize for his many years of service and significant contribution to the university's development. On his 85th birthday, Altyngazy Karimov was presented with a special certificate and the Al-Farabi Silver Medal for his outstanding contribution to the development of Al-Farabi KazNU. The award was presented on behalf of the university's Rector, Zh.K. Tuymebayev, by T. Mekebayev, Chairman of the Parasat Trade Union Committee. These achievements clearly demonstrate the professor's high professionalism and scholarly authority.

Another important event in the scientist's scientific career was the recent publication of a new work by A. Karimov. The research monograph "Applied Problems of Hydrodynamics in Underground Filtration: A Manual for Solving Linear and Nonlinear Partial Differential Equations in Underground Filtration Models" was published by Lambert Academic Publishing. This work focuses on applied research into solving linear and nonlinear differential equations in subsurface filtration models. It is particularly noteworthy that this scientific work has generated considerable interest abroad and has been translated into six languages. This is a clear indication of the recognition of the author's work by the international scientific community.
