THE RECTOR HAS RECEIVED THE CHIEF EDITOR OF THE NEWSPAPER "TÚRKISTAN"

Today the Chairman of the Board-Rector of Al-Farabi KazNU Zhanseit Tuimebayev received the editor-in-chief of the international newspaper "Túrkistan" Kuat Auesbay. During the meeting, issues of promising cooperation were discussed.

The head of the university, welcoming the well-known journalist who visited his native university, stressed that educational buildings and dormitories are currently being repaired, and all equipment and furniture are being updated in accordance with the requirements of the time. Also during the meeting, the rector focused the guest's attention on the issues of modern training of media specialists and offered to share professional experience and the intricacies of the craft with young journalists.

The editor-in-chief, in turn, warmly thanked his native alma mater, who gave him a start in life, and spoke about the current activities of the Túrkistan newspaper. “The publication this year became the winner in the nomination“ Best Newspaper of the Year ”at the National Urker Prize,” noted Kuat Auesbay. "And today we are trying to keep up with the times, adhering to the modern style of presenting information." He also briefly highlighted the best projects of the newspaper dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan, about representatives of Kazakh youth who work in leading companies in the world, and about the life of compatriots who have returned from abroad. The head of the leading publication said that he is interested in interacting with the best university and sharing experience.

The meeting was also attended by the correspondent of the Almaty branch of the newspaper Akhmet Umirzak. The honored guests got acquainted with the specialists of the press service of the university and the progress of work. The colleagues exchanged views on industry news and topical issues, agreed on effective cooperation.
