THE WIN OF THE SCIENTISTS OF KAZNU AT COMPETITION FOR "THE BEST RESEARCHER"- 2022

Scientists of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University won the annual contest for "The Best Researcher" - 2022.

In total, 468 applications were received for participation in the competition in seven areas: "Natural Sciences", "Engineering and Technology", "Medicine and Healthcare", "Social and Humanitarian Sciences", "Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences", "Humanities and Arts", "Military Sciences and National Security".

As a result, the Republican Commission decided to award the prize to 50 scientists who have made a significant contribution to the development of national science. The winners of the annual award "Best Researcher" in 2022 are the following scientists of KazNU: Medeu Abishev and Lelya Khadzhieva (Natural Sciences), Denis Vinnikov (Medicine and Healthcare), Gulmira Sultangalieva and Laura Erekesheva (Humanities and Arts). Every winner will receive a certificate and a prize of 2000 MCI.

For the second year in a row, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan has established awards for the best scientists of the country. It is aimed to support and encourage scientists and researchers, who have made a significant contribution to the development of science and technology. As the organizing party states, applications for participation are accepted through an information system that automatically counts points according to nine criteria. This ensures the transparency of the competition. All participants can see their scores already at the application stage. Further, the applications are examined by the Republican Commission and checked by expert groups in sections for compliance with the approved criteria.
